Because...

...everyone should be able to eat delicious tarts.

We work with people first and this is the key to every part of our business, tarts

do not become tarts or in fact delicious with out the key element that is people.

We run a catering business, along with a cafe and any other contracts that come our way - we love to serve people. A few years back we started to look at how best to sell desserts through the cafe that were gluten and dairy free and during our exploration we discovered a love for the simplicity of tarts.

 

Yielding pastry, filled with fruit preserves, roasted almond frangipane and garnished with the most delicate of detail to name but one variant of the many.

 

What started as a way to sell to our cafe and provide a product that was of a quality befitting of our regular guests turned into a longer than anticipated journey into how to do things with the same level of care and dedication but more efficiently.

 

Initially we made everyone of them by hand - pressing the dough that we had made into the few tart shells we had purchased and the tarts started to sell. 

 

What followed was a search for tools to support the process, eventually after much searching we found a tart press, a simple wooden press that allows us to make more tarts a little bit quicker, whilst not losing the element of handmade, every tart has to be finished by hand with the initial pressing complete. 

 

Slowly slowly with the dedicated staff that we have had adding their own amazing touch to the way we develop and bake tarts, we have built a collection of different flavours to suit every occasion. 

What we love about making tarts is that everyone can eat them and you can also order online and pick up or for a fee we will deliver.

Our tarts are great for morning teas, afternoon teas, anywhere that you can gather your self and a friend or two and enjoy the tarts that you wouldn't even know were gluten and dairy free.
